THOMAS PixelArt Batten (discontinued)

THOMAS PixelArt Batten (discontinued)

The new THOMAS PixelArt module is available in two sizes, with 216 or 432 RGB-SMD-LEDs.

PixelArt is a modular LED video product that allows designers to build their own custom display surface. Each batten consists of 6 by 72 tri-color LED pixels, each pixel individually controllable. The VideoMapper streams a video source out to the attached fixtures; input can be configured to take part or all of the video area.
PixelArt features 15mm pitch (maintainable across consecutive fixtures); minimum luminous intensity 910mcd/pixel for full white (approx. 4000NITS); 16 bit per color LED drive system; viewing angle of 160° both horizontal and vertical; configurable rotation in 90° increments; automatic fixture addressing; on-board diagnostics on data and power information; low overall power consumption (100W max.); operating voltage 110V - 240V.
It comes with standard Cat5e cabling for data signal; 1 + 1 data protection; daisy chain power and data; and built-in PowerCon cabling.
The VideoMapper is a 2U rack-mounted unit with detachable mouting brackets and features 1 protected output port (2 ports: 1 main + 1 protection); DVI and VGA video input; and 24-bit color input. The DVI ouput port provides a method to monitor live output. Each video port supports 120,000 pixels at 25 frames per second and utilizes high bandwidth protocol.
